Patients wait on the street outside the clinic grounds for hours...

...to be let into the courtyard waiting area.
But once inside, they receive care from Ethiopian doctors like Dr. Mekonnen, who holds a position at a local hospital and volunteers in his free time at the Addis Ababa Health Center...
..and from volunteers like me.
Volunteers and staff amused waiting children by blowing soap bubbles.
The land the Ethiopian government donated will allow the Addis Ababa Clinic to meet the needs of many more of the people who wait for medical care on the streets of Ethiopia's capitol city.
